Investing Instruments

Current day world there are several instruments where an investor can invest. There are lond term investments as well as short term investments. Short term investments include Stocks, Options, Bonds etc. Long term investments include Real Estate, Gold etc. Stocks and options provide a way to buy equity in a Company or organization and to gain or lose with Company's growth. Bonds are nothing but a loan provided by an investor to certain organizations where the organizations pay interest for the money owed to the investor. When you buy a real estate property or gold you retain it mostly for the rest of your life and will earn as the value of the property appreciates.

Accounting

Accounting is a sub division of finance. In broad Accounting can mean being responsible for. For every work we do a daily basis we account for it. Some one has be accounted for every work in order to report traceablity and progress of work. Accounting term was used along with finance inearlier days but in current day we see Accounting as a seperate discipline itself. In finance accounting is used to measure out profi/loss, appreciation/depreciation, earnings, assets and liabilities.

Finance

In ancient times when money was not invented people used to trade by barter system. In this system people used to exchange commodities based on their necessity and usage. After invenitng currencies many changes have occured. There are many currencies in today's world but US Dollar is being used as an internationl standard for many commodities.
